More Layoffs

My cousin lives in Minnesota and just got laid off, which is why he moved there. It's sad because they have an awesome piece of property and would hate to lose it. He's been on a Minneapolis job search for a while but nothing seems to be working out just yet. I hope it does since they sold their house out here thinking they wouldn't come back. Personally I would have kept that house, it's in quite a prestigious area and the rent would have been awesome income. Matter of fact, one time we had a gathering there there was also a fundraiser going on down the street for John Kerry when he ran for President, that was kind of exciting. LOL

Looking for a Laptop

I'm thinking that DS needs his own laptop, he keeps stealing the ones my parents have. He's thinking of a netbook but I think it may be more practical to just spend a little more to get a laptop which will do a little more. He REALLY wants a Mac but I don't think we want to spend THAT much right now. Although, macbook memory is better than a PC. I don't know, I think it's better just to get a starter one first and see how he does with it first. I'd give him mine and get a new one for myself but something tells me he doesn't want a pink one...LOL!

Energy Eruption

It's been really nice for me lately. I guess my hormones are stable or something and I all of a sudden have lots of energy to get things done and don't need to be taking diet supplements. I normally will take one to get an energy boost and get me going but it's nice to be natural and normal for a change. My sleeping still stinks though. It could be that I'm redoing our room paint and all and that is really exciting. I've been planning this for about a year and I cannot wait to get going and be done. I'm really looking forward to having a clean room that's nicely decorated the way I want. I know that I'll be a lot happier with being in this space and DD will have her own area with her bed to be in too. I should be done in the next couple of weeks depending on what interruptions I run into and I'm SO happy!

Potty Break

I'm finding that every other day is on and off with DD and her potty training. One day she'll go almost every time she needs to and the next she'll barely go at all. I think it's her own form of controlling the matter. LOL We had started a sticker system and I was originally against it because I really didn't want to reward her for doing something that she'll have to do normally anyway but I gave in. She really likes being able to carry her little book around and know that she'll get one after. She ends up all proud of herself for a few moments and that's really nice to see. If only she'd fill up that book already though.

Business Blues

I was SO excited to be starting my business once I got my tax refund but it seems that it may be put on hold again. The kids need more stuff than I had considered so now I'm finding that my budget wasn't what I thought it would be. It's such a bummer. I'm not throwing it out yet though. Right now I'm looking into free directories to list my site once I get that up and going. The only thing is that I need to have something to put on it and right now that's not much so I'll have to figure something out.

We all know and are told that it's really important to be taking multivitamins but how many of us actually do it? I know I forget all the time and it shows when I don't have as much energy and immunity as I should. One winter I was sick all the time and because by the time I started taking something regularly it was too late. What a Mess

Today is turning out to be one of the most retarded days ever thanks to DH. He's all spastic and is going about things all crazy leaving a mess for me to clean up. He thinks that he's helping me out by playing with DD but he's causing such a ruckus that I can't do anything other than clean up after him. It's quickly become a totally crappy day. I was all happy when I woke up because the sun is shining and it's a great day for getting things done. Now I find myself back tracking all over the house to fix what ever he's done wrong. I think I need a nap or to get out of the house, he's driving me crazy!
