Funky Sizes

One thing we are never short on in this house is batteries. With the various toys taking a bunch of different sizes, it seems like it's one item that never disappears from our shopping list. We have this one thing that actually uses those half sized AA batteries and for the longest time I didn't know where I could find them. Luckily I found a site that carries the 14250 battery for a pretty decent price. Now we can finally figure out what this thing is and if it even works lol.

Pimp My Ride

I don't really watch this show but I've caught it a few times and it's interesting to see what they do to the cars they change. The one thing I think was pretty neat is that they will only allow cars of kids who are in school that can't afford to fix up the beaters they have. It's funny when they pull out the hydraulic hoses and make the cars jump all over the place, I've always thought that was something quite entertaining.

Baby Funds

It's been tough since I lost my last job. My husband's had to carry most of the weight until I can find something else. At the same time we need to start buying all of the supplies for the baby. It's fun but hard not to be too careless with the money we have. Hopefully I can find something else soon, even if it's small and temporary.

Gardening!

My father in law just posted a bunch of pictures tonight of all of the things they are growing this year. It's really neat to see what they've done and what kind of things Mom will be cooking with later, along with all of their beautiful flowers and trees. The one thing they have to worry about is deer, so he also posted a picture of their Deer Scram LOL! I wish we could have something like what they do, here.

Rearranged!

I have finally gotten dd's room in order, or so I think lol. It's really difficult to keep her organized. While going through her things, I discovered that she has a lot more jewelry than I thought she did. The downside is that she doesn't really have anywhere to put it where things won't get tangled. I think I'm going to find her a cute jewelry tree & boxes to put it in. Maybe that will motivate her to keep things in their proper place. I can hope anyway lol.

Losing It

I've already started to consider a plan to get rid of the weight once I have the baby. I'm really not looking forward to being heavy again after another child and if I don't start something right away, the weight will end up sticking around much longer than intended. I've looked into a number of things including lipofuze ingredients because I want to be sure that anything I take or do will be safe for breastfeeding. I know I'm going to be quite exhausted with three kids going all the time, so I'm not sure yet on how to work in exercise, but I'll get there.

It's a Boy!

Ok, in all honesty, I'm not really sure how excited I am about having a boy now that I'm currently raising two girls. I think we were both hoping that it would be a girl, but I'm sure we'll be happy all the same. The really bad part of this is that we can't reuse the things we saved in hopes of a second use and we'll have to start over. Plus girl's things are just so much more fun to buy than boy's lol! Oh well, I'm just glad to know that we will have a child together and that's what matters the most.
