Both of the girls have said that they want to start playing instruments. I'm all for it but I don't think they're quite ready yet. I played and so did Yes-Yes, so I would never deny them the experience. I found a line of instruments that look really good for student instruments. I wish I would have seen those when Yes-Yes was into it. I'm not sure what each girl wants to play yet and I don't think they know themselves, but when they decide I'll definitely buy etude.
I'm trying to get back on track now that my episode is over. It's really hard since I'm not sure what to do or where to turn since work's slowed down. I'm trying not to panic but I really feel like we aren't going to make it, let alone afford anything "extra". I'm praying that something will work out, but I just don't see it happening. All I know is that I can't keep living like this and something has to change.
Since my parents moved Yes-Yes has really been happy with his new room. The only drawback is that he doesn't really know how to decorate it. He doesn't like the walls being completely bare, but all he really has is a cool shelf and that's it. I though something really neat he could do is hang some guitar bodies on the wall since he's really into that. He could even take the faces off and make cubbies out of the bodies or make shelves out of the fronts. That would be really neat. I can't wait to get back there to help him.

My friend has really gotten into guitars over the years that we've grown apart. I never really pictured him to be into that sort of thing, but it's great for him. He's even turned into becoming pretty inventive. His amp broke somehow so he figured out how to rewire a karaoke machine into one. I'm not really sure why he didn't just go get a power amplifier at guitar center, but to each his own. I'm sure he was proud of himself for doing it anyway lol!
We had a really nice night tonight. My husband's been wanting to go see a movie really badly for weeks now, so he decided that it was time that we went out. Obviously the prospect of having hours without children was more than enough to get me to agree even though I know we shouldn't spend more money than we have to right now. We had a really nice time and "Man of Steel" is awesome. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie in 3-D, but man, did they get better. LOL! I wish we could have more nights like this one.

I've been looking at a lot of sites for home design and watching a lot of home shows since we started our journey on finding a house. It's interesting to see how many are using different bits of styles and mixing them together. There seems to be a trend in industrial things too. I've never thought about as an option but I like how it all comes together. Thinking about the house we're hoping to get, I could see a lot of places where I could implement it by using some fasteners at reidsupply.com along with handles and other small items. It doesn't take a lot and it gives an interesting element to the place too. I still can't decide on what I want to do. I guess we'll see how it unfolds once we're in.

Now that the housing market seems to be going back up, I'm going to guess that there are going to be people finding themselves going downward again. The media always makes it seem like unemployment rates and housing are huge indicators that the country is doing well, but that's not always the case. I found this out the hard way when I was unemployed and the whole country went downhill. A few of my friends ended up having to file for bankruptcy and I almost did too (actually, I should have). Back then I was helping a friend look up pa bankruptcy laws because she was so stressed out that she was having a hard time, while I was doing the same in my state. I'm glad she did it though because now she's in a better spot than I am, as far as credit goes.
