Good Morning!

Not every morning is all that of a great one but for most people, having their morning "cuppa joe" makes it worth while. That is probably one of the things I miss most about working in the food business...coffee, good coffee. I'm a trained barista, amongst other things, and I would make some of the best espresso drinks for myself everyday. Lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, mochas...mmmmmm.

So needless to say, I was really excited when our coffemaker broke after forever. I was thinking "Yay, we can get something really neat!" To my disappointment my parents bring out a coffee/espresso maker that was a brand new hand-me-down. :op It makes a very small amount of regular coffee and some of the parts for the espresso side are missing. On top of that, it's too wide for our counter. Ugh, such a bummer. The carafe doesn't have measuring lines on it so they kept their old one to measure the water which takes up even more room.

I've convinced them to sell it at the yard sale we are having this weekend in hopes of getting a better one. I saw this really cool Capresso one that would make things a lot easier. The design is much slimmer than the honking width of the one we have now, making things much more functional, and the cup size is about right for us. The price is fantastic...I just hope I can convince them to go with this one!
