Sorry Sis

I feel bad, there's been some tension in dh's family over the last couple of weeks and we didn't get to see his sister this time around. I know she's trying hard to get to know us since she never really did but he doesn't seem to care. It's sad, he feels like the family outcast and rightfully so after his dad talks so poorly about him to everyone. Knowing this is going on dh doesn't ever want to see anyone thinking that they are looking down on him. Since it's the same in my family I know exactly what he feels like but can handle it a whole lot better than he can. I don't push him but he's really going to end up missing out on things if he doesn't start to change his attitude soon. I almost wonder if things will get better with them once their dad passes away since he's the root of all the drama.
