Not every morning is all that of a great one but for most people, having their morning "cuppa joe" makes it worth while. That is probably one of the things I miss most about working in the food business...coffee, good coffee. I'm a trained barista, amongst other things, and I would make some of the best espresso drinks for myself everyday. Lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, mochas...mmmmmm.
So needless to say, I was really excited when our coffemaker broke after forever. I was thinking "Yay, we can get something really neat!" To my disappointment my parents bring out a coffee/espresso maker that was a brand new hand-me-down. :op It makes a very small amount of regular coffee and some of the parts for the espresso side are missing. On top of that, it's too wide for our counter. Ugh, such a bummer. The carafe doesn't have measuring lines on it so they kept their old one to measure the water which takes up even more room.
I've convinced them to sell it at the yard sale we are having this weekend in hopes of getting a better one. I saw this really cool Capresso one that would make things a lot easier. The design is much slimmer than the honking width of the one we have now, making things much more functional, and the cup size is about right for us. The price is fantastic...I just hope I can convince them to go with this one!

DH is Goin on a Trip
I had forgotten to mention that DH has decided to go off and find any kind of seasonal work that he can. I'm feeling a bit partial on this because as much as we need it (and I'd like a vacation from him sometimes) he will be gone for months. Even worse, I worry that he'll hurt himself more than he already is. As it is he needs to see a doctor about something in his hand which may be a torn tendon or ligament. I really don't know how he expects to work one handed.
So, I've decided to look into life insurance quotes just in case something happens since we don't know what he'll end up with or where. That way at least if something did happen we'd have some kind of something for the kids, even if it's not much at all. God, can my stress levels go up any higher or what?!

Working Slump
All of a sudden my income has just about dried up and things are getting really scary with DH still not working. We've used up all our savings and anything else we had already. I'm starting to go into a total panic. I haven't been this scared in at least a year.
On top of that we are about to lose the house too. We came seriously close this last month and got really lucky. I've avoided applying for welfare but it may finally be time. Things are just rotten and it's a wonder we have any kind of food at all. I'm not sure what we're going to do but it had better happen quick before we totally go under. :o(

My Pill Purpose...
I think I found something that may be better than the diet pills that I've taken before. Okay, my little secret (not anymore, lol) is that I take pills in the morning to help jump start my day. I don't usually care to advertise it because it looks like I'm some weird junkie if I casually say "yeah, I take these great things so I can get up and move". The reason why the pills are diet pills is because many of them use caffeine as their main ingredient and I need just about as much as I can get without drinking tons of coffee or soda. Losing some weight wouldn't be bad either. LOL So anyway, this one kind called Apidexin sounds really good. They have excellent reviews (for weight loss of course) and offer a 100% money back guarantee. There are patented ingredients in it to help curb your appetite (great for people that are never full) and other natural extracts for other various things. I might just have to try this one!
X-treme Dish Washing
Okay, I think we have THE worst kitchen sink in the whole world. Our house is super old and yes, we have Formica counters that are yellow toned. YUCK! The sink is TERRIBLE! Every time someone washes anything the water will come right back at you and your shirt will be totally soaked. It's almost like it's own sport, I swear. Everything about this sink is WRONG and it totally does not function properly.
We've been looking at zero radius sinks to get an idea of what is is that we like. I LOVE the ones that are one DEEP basin with no stupid dividers to get hung up on. Did I mention that our sink slopes so that things (including plates) will go towards the drain? Try draining pasta in this thing and actually be able to keep it all in the colander. It's a nightmare. I hope we can get a new one soon!

Ebay or Craigslist?
I've considered the options and I can't figure out which would be more profitable to get rid of all my stuff. It seems that over the last few years, Ebay has been a place for everyone to sell surplus goods and is more of a business site. I don't see that many people that don't have stores for the kinds of things I have to sell. Personally, I wouldn't mind finding a bunch of wholesale things to sell on their either. LOL
Craigslist on the other hand does have the upside of not having to ship anything. I hate when people assume that you jack up shipping prices to make a couple of extra dollars. Don't they realize that postage has been going up almost every 3 months?! ugh. Either way, I think I'll make more than if I were to have a yard sale since everyone that shows up wants everything for like ten cents. good lord.

The Same Old, Same Old...
Well, I haven't been up to much of anything of interest lately. Actually, I haven't been doing much of anything. LOL I had hit another slump but I'm slowly coming back out of it. DS is out of school so we are hoping to get some things done around here. The house is a complete disaster and we seriously need to de-clutter like we've never done before. My aunt and cousins are coming out here in a little over a week too so we need to be in better shape. I'm not sure if I've ever wanted to clean as badly as I do now. LOL!
I'm also starting to look at some possibilities of starting a business, so we'll all have to watch out for that and see what comes of it. It would be nice if I had investors to help with the start up since I don't waulify for a loan but I really wouldn't want to owe anyone anything anyway.

Diet Pill Reviews
This must be the most helpful thing if you're looking into buying the best weight loss supplements. There are now really great sites to read other people's experiences with the hundreds of different pills out there. It seems like a new one pops up every day sometimes and it's hard to figure out which might work and which won't at all, what a waste of money. Of course, none of them will do anything unless you exercise and eat well but they can help many people. I find these things really helpful though because I want to know what actually happens to the people that take them. Even when advertisements show you pictures, it's not always easy to believe. I think THE best part of these reviews is that they talk about product safety and that's what really matters in the end.
Crafty People...
...are much more creative than I am! LOL I've always liked to do crafts but they are SO time consuming and I could never find a good way to sell them. Then I'd end up with tons of supplies and tons of half finished projects. I've been thorough everything but anything to do with paper. I'm not that imaginative. My Godmother would make THE most fantastic cards though. She would get everything on there from glitter to ribbon bits, totally amazing. I think she even had those custom rubber stamps made and then I would get totally jealous. I always wanted those, especially when I changed the spelling of my name and never had anything personalized again. I wish I could do things that start with a blank canvas but I'll just end up sitting there blank myself! I'm much better when given directions. Maybe I'll still get my own stamp and use it for a notepad or something. lol
Gotta Get a Dish!
Okay, seriously, if these people have a dish, WHY don't I?!?! I'm getting seriously frustrated that our dish service hasn't been ordered yet. Of course one of my good friends has to rub it all in when she upgraded from her FIVE channels. LOL! I'm seriously bored and going crazy having nothing decent to watch that I actually don't mind watching No-No's movies over and over and over again. How many times do I really want to watch Home Alone?! And yes, she watches that at the age of 2. She even does the hands on the face move that that annoying kid did. What have I done? LOL I'm still waiting though and if I ever do get to watch anything other than re-runs and bad British dramas, you'll know because I'll be screaming from the roof tops...then sitting for hours. ;o)
