Please Share...

I still have to read up on those colon cleanser reviews but I do wonder if anyone's had any experience with them or if you had talked to your doctor about them. Since we don't have insurance it's not easy for us to get any opinions about these things. I always tend to get nervous when I see something say "cleans out" or whatever. Ok, just thought I'd throw that out there. LOL!

Can You See it Now?

I want a flat screen TV SO badly! The honking huge thing we have now takes up so much room and is sitting on a dresser and because of it's size, we can only turn it so far towards the bed. It's hard to watch during the day because it's also right by the window and gets a good glare on it. I really would like to be able to one day use those mounts and finally be able to get the TV off our furniture and have better viewing. One of those ones that swivels would be really nice to have! I guess it's going to be a while before we get one though...that's such a bummer.

What's THAT For?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm actually getting curious about these colon cleaner thingys. I'm sure ( I hope) that I don't need anything like that at my age but you never know I guess huh? I know DH might need something because he eats a whole lotta junk and not many vegetables so there has to be something going on there I would think. I think I'm going to read up on some colon cleanse reviews and stuff and see what it's all about and if he should be doing something to help.

That's on When?

Since we've gotten cable it seems like we only watch the same shows over and over and over. We hardly watch local stuff anymore (I have no idea what's going on in the world right now) and I hardly even know what's on the channels we get. We're totally into all the ghost shows except one, all the food shows (although those are wearing thin), and any home decorating show you can bet I'm watching. Other than that we see nothing else. Okay, maybe some movie that DD's decided that she wants to watch and kick us off the TV but that's it. LOL I wish there was a guide for every channel all the time rather than flipping through the on screen one that doesn't work for us half the time.

One Last Time

I'm doing it again and I swear that this is the last time that I'm looking into the
best weight loss programs that I can find so that I can once and for all get rid of this weight I've been carrying for almost 3 years! I can't take it anymore. The good news is that I have some motivation...The Biggest Loser has started again and although I forgot to watch the first episode, one might say that it was even intentional because I really like to watch that show while I'm on the treadmill and I don't care for reruns. I'm excited but am still trying to keep the momentum going so that I actually get off my butt, stop playing these stupid computer games, and get moving!

Labels

I'm big when it comes to reading product labels even if I'm not really sure what an ingrediant is. I think I tend to look at nutrition content more than anything but I try to look for things that are unhealthy too.

When it comes to the pills I take it's a whole new game. I don't know what anything is unless it's something herbal and even then I'm not always sure. Since I do take diet pills I try to keep current on what the newer ones are but there's so many I've never heard of like centrilean and that's when it's great to have review sites that help me figure out what they are and how effective they've been. This really helps me narrow things down especially when it's a mail order only product and you don't have everything in front of you at once.

Indoors or Out?

We have two cats and one of them is the biggest pain in the butt! She's started peeing all over the house in the last couple of months and I don't know why (the boxes are always clean!). I just found out to day that she had gone all over DD's shoes on the floor and I can't even tell you how awful that was to try to clean up. I'm thinking about getting them current on shots so taht they can go outside and have some protection but I'm worried that they'll get hit by cars or something. The "good" cat is kind of slow and dumb and I think she'd be the first to get hit.

I've always had cats and up till now all of them were indoor and outdoor cats but when we moved to an area where the streets are narrow and there's more traffic I decided to keep these inside. Maybe that was a mistake since one of them was adopted and is more like a stray cat? I don't know what the problem is but something has to stop her before she destroys all of our floors!

Age, Be Gone!

I am SO scared that my face is going to look like this when I get old! Okay, Asians don't usually wrinkle as much as other nationalities but the age spots and things do freak me out. If I had the money I would probably have spent TONS of money on skin lighteners, anti-sagging, and wrinkle cream. LOL! When I worked in retail a lady had come in to return something and handed us the wrong receipt and on it was a LONG list of just those things worth over $300! She looked absolutely fantastic but wow! I couldn't imagine spending that much on just those things but I guess it really does pay off. I need to get at least one to start the preventative cycle already though. I'm already seeing some lines that weren't there before...yikes!

Christmas in September

When I was working outside the home I would always start my Chritsmas shopping in September and lucky for me, stores would start stocking up for it already. Now that we're not in such a good state and stuff, I can't get as much done as early as I would like to. It's pretty crummy because this year I wanted to get DH an ipod or something. He's been eyeing the Mp3 players every where we go. I'm not sure if I can swing it this year. Well, if not, there's always his birthday not too long after.

That's Just Sick!

I'm sure by now most people have heard about the rescue of Jaycee Dugard who was kidnapped 18 years ago. Since I live close enough to where she was held and taken I hear about something new they find out about this sicko frequently and boy is he just disgusting. Now they've found out that he has sang songs about "loving little girls". ICK!

I feel SO awful for this young lady, her kids, and her family. There's such a low chance of her ever being able to "recover" and live an even semi normal life after all those years with this idiot. Being the same age as she is I know that the probable torment is that we do have so many more years to our natural lives of which she would have to think about all the things she endured. I can't even believe this guy was out in the first freakin place! How do you serve 11 years or what ever it was of a LIFE sentence?!?! That's totally mind blowing! If you are able to receive a life sentence that should immediately come with no possible parole...DUH! UGH!!

Growing the WRONG Way!

I'm a small person by nature so I really should be quite petite but I've gained a ton of weight and didn't even really realize it until I tried to get dressed last night. We had a luncheon to go to today for the family and I couldn't find one thing to wear! It was horrible knowing that all my pre-baby clothes are so small and I no longer am.

Of course this gives me tons of motivation to get up and move which is helpful since I need to clean this house out from top to bottom. The problem is always that I just don't have the energy so I end up relying on weight loss supplements to keep me going through out the day. Normally I take less then the reccommended doseage but now...I've got to lose some of this fat man, there's no way around it anymore. Not only would I not want to waste money on buying "fat clothes" I don't have that money anyway!
