Mini Vacation

Since it was a holiday weekend we took advantage of it and took a drive down the coast. It was SO nice to get out and do something for a change. We had a great day in a small beach town with quaint shops and a lovely lunch at a family run restaurant. The beach itself was rather crowded so it was a good thing I didn't plan on spending any time there since we weren't sure exactly where we'd end up.

Of course DD's still hung up on going to the zoo again so that will probably be our next day out. She still can't stop talking about the giraffes she saw up so close. That was really neat for her. I can't wait to start going out more like we used to before we wound up totally broke.
