Breaking Away From Breakouts
I've had skin problems since I was a teen, it drives me crazy. However, I have found that good products, a strict regimen, and mineral makeup really helps control things. I think a lot of the additives in liquid foundation really aggravated whatever was going on and just made things worse. What I love about the minerals is that they don't cake up and seem to clog my pores a lot less. Getting older, this is a good thing because the makeup would settle in the wrinkles that I seem to be starting too. I love that I can easily control the shade and it looks a lot more natural too!

One Day...
When my son was little, we took him on his first camping trip. He absolutely loved it but he was extremely jealous of the people in the site next to us. Why? Because they were there in an RV and had TV! I couldn't believe it, here we go all out to make sure he gets as close as we can to roughing it and the people next to us have a kitchen, TV, and air conditioning. LOL! After that he had his heart set on renting one to travel in, at the least. He hasn't ever forgotten and even looked into an rv insurance quote at one point. Maybe one day he'll be trekking around the country in one, seeing everything he's made a list from. Until then we'll have to settle for things done the old fashioned way, oh darn...lol.
Beach Fun
When we went to Hawaii, I had thought for sure that dd would love to play on the beach in the sand. The reality was that we couldn't get her to take more than 10 steps onto the sand before she decided she had enough of the whole thing. Very different from her brother. He always loved going to the beach, playing in the sand, seeing what interesting things he could find, and eventually wanting to take metal detectors out there to see if there was buried treasure around. He still loves doing that and prays he'll come across something significant in value, LOL. Hopefully next time she'll be more excited about getting dirty.
Cleaning House
Before I left CA, I made sure that I had gone through almost everything I owned. It was hard considering the short time frame I was working with but I was able to get through most of it. It was kinda of funny because I had found a bunch of my stepdad's old sport trophies. I had no idea that he played anything really physical in high school, but apparently he had. It was interesting to see what areas he excelled in. That's something that I never did, play sports. I know at one time I had wanted to but my mom talked me out of it. Of course when I didn't want to is when she tried to talk me into it. It's funny how things change over such a short period of time.
